We are delighted to be joined at DSEI by GoFAR, an interesting development in autonomous battlefield logistics support design and developed by our customer Performance Projects.

GoFar, featuring high performance, ultra flat, brushless servo motors by PMW Dynamics. GoFARs are designed for rugged last kilometre logistics, medivac support, and as the base vehicle on which to mount sensors, robotic arms and similar to undertake high risk task without risk to personnel. Featuring high torque, rugged, propulsion, the vehicles support 500kg payload and are currently part of Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) ‘Defence & Security Accelerator (DASA)’ programme for development and exploitation.

Unique to GoFAR, the vehicles feature electronic differentials and non-skid Ackerman steering, significantly reducing ground disruption and minimising energy consumption. GoFAR’s are designed and manufactured in Great Britain, utilising the world class high performance engineering processes, alongside sovereign capability and support.
