Hub Motor Electric Scooter

One from the Archives ...

PMW Dynamics truly lead motor development. Back in the '90's we worked with a significant OEM to develop electric propulsion for personal transportation. The development motor feature an outer rotor design incorporated within the rear wheel of the scooter. The motor development was an overwhelming success but the scooter never fully took to the roads due to the then restrictions in the development of battery technology

Fast forward to 2020's and our in-wheel hub motor technology is in high demand. PMW Dynamics are engaged with a number of global OEMs on development projects for a vast range of personal transportation including electric scooters, tricycles and full-blown passenger vehicles
